STREETWRITING IN ITS TINIEST FORM.
AN EXPANDING OUTDOOR COLLECTION OF POETRY AND THOUGHTS.
My 'Street Signs' reach people beyond books; people going about their daily business.
They come in the form of poems and musings. Combined with silhouettes to anchor extra meaning.
They're found in town centres, city centres, back streets, in tunnels, on lampposts; in public parks.
In the North of England and surprisingly far beyond.
Big posters shout at people.
My street signs - they're tiny but personal. You know, you don't always have to shout to sing your heart out.
They invite you to pause for a while, to reflect on things; to take time out
of your busy schedule, to relate to the words.
As a Writer and Artist, it's my mission and passion to encourage people to have conversations, to think
about life; to connect more than we do in our faceless online world, where 'likes' replace actual dialogue.
And as a human?
I want to brighten the streets up and put a smile on people's faces.
